Sparks Makes Sash

Sparks is at the router table cutting the profile on a sash bar (also called a muntin - a small piece of wood dividing pieces of glass). He's quickly learning that making window sash is all in the set up, and that once all the machines are calibrated correctly, they go together rather quickly.

These sash in particular are for the folks at the Heights Realty Group on Nebraska, some top notch clients. We'll glaze them with antique glass after we stain and finish them to match their existing interior woodwork.

I was pleased with the outcome of Spark's sash today

Meanwhile, over at Eric's, Steve Brown is preparing the openings to receive some casements we're building. Yay for teamwork. together we'll get everything done and do a great job.

Keep up the good work guys.
