As spring breathes new life into our historic neighborhoods, it’s the perfect time to breathe life back into the windows that define them.
This May, we’re opening the shop—and the movement—for a new round of Window Craft training classes designed to equip, inspire, and send out artisans ready to serve and defend our historic house communities.
Whether you’re a seasoned carpenter looking for deeper meaning in your work, or someone at the beginning of their journey with a strong back and a stronger sense of purpose, these classes are your gateway to a trade that goes beyond just restoring wood—it restores people, places, and purpose.
What’s Coming in May:
πͺ Total Window Makeover Workshop
π
May 19–23
Learn how to take a window from barely functional to fully restored using the Five Pillars of Window Craft. This week-long workshop is hands-on, fast-paced, and immersive—perfect for those wanting to understand the full restoration process from start to finish.
πͺ Intro to Sash Making
π
May 26–30
For those ready to level up, this class focuses on replicating historic sash using traditional joinery methods. You’ll walk away with the skills to make windows that are as functional as they are beautiful.
πͺ Leadership-Scouting Focus
These workshops aren’t just for training—they’re how we find the next generation of leaders. We’re looking for people who feel called to this work, ready to plant and lead Window Craft teams in historic house communities across the country.
Why Take These Classes?
Because our windows—and our neighborhoods—deserve more than demolition and plastic replacements. They deserve to be honored, repaired, and passed on. And so do you.
This isn’t just a trade. It’s a mission. It’s the Artisan Way.
If you’re ready to get your hands dirty and your heart stirred, May is your month.
Spots are limited.
Reply, DM, or visit woodwindowmakeover.com to reserve your place.
Let’s bring back the beauty. Let’s restore the spirit.
