Pergola Power

Howdy folks! Here's a pergola for the Henderson family. Looks small in the picture eh? I guess it's not the biggest pergola you've ever seen, but believe me, it's heavy duty enough to last a while. The timbers we made it from are douglas fir, known for its weatherability and insect resistance.

The bottom beams are 6x8 inches and the upper joists are 6x6 inches. So it has plenty of mass. The roof planks are 1x6 inch v-groove cypress.
